Îòåëü î÷åíü óäà÷íî ðàñïîëîæåí, â öåíòðå ãîðîäà ðÿäîì ñ ãëàâíûìè äîñòîïðèìå÷àòåëüíîñòÿìè è â òîæå âðåìÿ â òèõîì çåëåíîì ðàéîíå. Ïåðñîíàë íà ðåäêîñòü äðóæåëþáåí. Íîìåðà óäîáíûå, óþòíûå, õîðîøèé ðåñòîðàí.

Great location in the city centre on a quiet street. All the attractions are near. Very friendly and helpful staff. A wonderful hotel for both holiday and for business trips.

Downward trend continues. They have lost the idea of what a hotel should be. I would NOT recommend this hoitel any longer. Last stay in November 2007 was poor. They are more interested in themselves than they are in the guests

We stayed here for 2 nights at the start of the tour. The reception area is very nicely done with a high ceiling and period furniture and our room was clean and comfortable with a safe in the wardrobe. The evening meal we had here was excellent and the staff were very attentive. Breakfast was a different story though and was rather chaotic with food running out and tables not being cleared.The hotel is located slightly out of the main centre but close to the Alexander Nevskii church so was a good base for sightseeing.

Whilst still a good hotel standards are beginning to slip. Hopefully this will be rectified. It is beginning to be a bit expensive for what is on offer

Excellent hotel in good central location and opposite the Doctor's Gardens. Very helpful and friendly staff. My preferred business hotel in Sofia. Prices very sensible.

Most places worth seeing are within 10 mins walk.

The Crystal Palace Hotel must be one of Sofia's best kept secrets. The hotel is only a year old and is in a central location. The rooms are spacious and it has a good selection of cable TV channels and a bath tub big enough to lose yourself in. Rooms are equipped with cable broadband access (bring your own or borrow from the hotel) which is charged per MB of download and not by the minute. Currently the cost is 0.12 Euro per Megabyte. Also, unlike other hotels they do not rip you off with the mini bar. Water and sweets are between 1 and 1.5 EUR.

The gym is better than a lot of hotels I have previously stayed in. There is good selection of weight machines, 2 treadmills, 1 cross trainer and 2 bikes. The staff are very helpful if you need assistance with any of the equipment. But the highlight of this hotel has to be the "Relax Room" which costs an extra 10 Lev (5 EUR) per visit but it worth every penny. It contains a huge whirlpool bath, steam room and sauna as well as a large open area full of lounge chairs for you to unwind in. You can also book in for massages (additional costs) and the staff will even order you drinks from the bar to enjoy. If you are in Sofia on business and need to de-stress after work then the Relax Room is the place to go.

The hotel restaurant offers an excellent menu and has very attentive staff. There is also a smaller bar menu.

I have stayed in other hotels in Sofia on business and I would highly recommend the Crystal Palace. It might not be a big and bold as some of the other giant hotels in the city, but it more than makes up for that with the Relax Room, Charm and friendliness and the sensible pricing.
