6-seat lift is in a process of building in Pamporovo

New 6-seat lift will start working in Pamporovo until the end of the season. It will maintain two ski tracks, with which the ski area will widen towards the village of Stoikite. Over 7 million € is invested in the construction of all the necessary equipment. British and Irish tourists are the predominant groups of tourists in Pamporovo. They like this Bulgarian mountain resort, because of its unique mountain climate and comparatively easier ski tracks, which are particularly suitable for ski beginners. “Many people come with their children and it is surprisingly that by skiing on our easier ski tracks, attending a 6-day course, beginner skiers just become good skiers during their next course.” declared the chief of the ski-school in Pamporovo.

The resort offers good conditions not only for the fans of traditional ski downhill. “We have unbelievable trace for cross country for longer distance running-it is about 12 km, always maintained in excellent conditions. We have a special place for snowboarding which is very accessible and smooth.” added the chief of the ski-school. Now the total length of ski tracks in Pamporovo is over 20km. The ski area is foreseen to be connected with Chepelare and Perelik, which will make this district the biggest winter tourist centre on The Balkans.
