hotel overview:

A new realm of luxury - Amelia Hotel Albena is the 5-star jewel that you simply can't resist.

What guests appreciate most

Maritim Hotel Amelia is a modern five-star themed hotel in central Albena, within a short walk of its dedicated beach section. Following its complete reconstruction, the property offers spacious contemporary rooms and suites, a Luxury Ultra All Inclusive concept and access to a broad range of facilities. Guests most frequently praise the spacious accommodation, comfortable beds, modern design, beach, convenient location and high overall level of comfort. The main restaurant, 24-hour lobby bar, stocked minibar and access to the mineral-water pools and Senses Wellness Center at the neighbouring Maritim Hotel Paradise Blue are also appreciated. Beach service includes one umbrella and up to two sun loungers per room from the third row backwards.

What guests most often complain about

Despite the high standard, the latest 2026 feedback indicates some inconsistency during periods of high occupancy. Complaints include slower table clearing and buffet replenishment, late or occasionally missed room cleaning and slow responses to individual problems. Some returning guests feel that food variety and quality declined in 2026 compared with earlier seasons, although other recent guests continue to rate the food very highly. There are also isolated comments about stains or minor technical details in rooms. Because the hotel operates at a relatively high price level, such imperfections are more noticeable to guests expecting consistently polished five-star service.

Who is this hotel suitable for?

Maritim Hotel Amelia is suitable for families with children, couples and travellers looking for an upscale Ultra All Inclusive holiday with modern accommodation, proximity to the beach and access to swimming pools and wellness facilities. It also suits guests who prefer a relatively relaxed atmosphere without excessively loud entertainment while remaining in central Albena.

Our recommendation

We recommend Maritim Hotel Amelia as one of Albena's higher-end holiday products, particularly for guests who value spacious modern rooms, the beach and an extensive Ultra All Inclusive package. Expectations regarding service should nevertheless take into account recent reports of temporary restaurant and housekeeping pressure during peak occupancy. Before booking, guests should confirm the exact room category and view, the current scope of Luxury Ultra All Inclusive, which Paradise Blue facilities are included and the conditions for the first and second beach rows.
