Austria Has Special Interest in Bulgarian Tourism

Austrian Airlines in Bulgaria hosted the first tourist exchange between Bulgaria and Austria, which was held on September 19-20 in Hilton Hotel, Sofia. Representatives of agencies of the twelve largest tourist regions of Austria met with 60 Bulgarian tourist companies to exchange information and determine special conditions for Bulgarian tourists. Austria, which is the largest foreign investor in Bulgaria, has a special interest in tourism in Bulgaria, trade representative of Austrian embassy Herman Ortner said. The major idea of the tourist exchange was to boost contacts between the two countries and to show to the Bulgarian tourists that Austria is not only an attractive tourist destination, but also one that can be afforded.
