Balchik has received an award for Festival city on the Balkans

Black Sea city Balchik received the award “Festival city on the Balkans”. The award is bestowed by the Balkan alliance of the hotel associations.
Balchik has competed for the prize with the Macedonian city Shtip and the Albanian capital city Tirana. The recognition was a result of Bachik being a host of many International cultural events.
The municipality has welcomed this summer many movie initiatives from all over the world. Here the music festival “Days of the classics”, the festival for art youths ‘’Via Pontika”. Balchik has hosted the International choir festival “Black Sea sounds”. All the events have won the recognition for Balchik which had the competitive advantage to receive the award.
