hotel overview:
St. George Ski and Spa is a fabulous hotel of luxury apartments, which marries ancient history and modern splendour. St. George Ski & Spa offers a five star luxury and lifestyle that will satisfy the desires of the most refined guests. St George Ski & Spa offers you to enjoy outdoor activity and luxurious facilities, to be in the heart of the vibrant town of Bansko and yet to feel the closeness of the unforgettable mountain nature. St. George’s Location, Facilities, SPA and Architectural design combined with the supreme quality of hotel services make St. George a unique hotel and a brilliant opportunity for all! Enjoy your vacation!
What guests appreciate most
Among the strongest features of St. George Ski & Holiday are its proximity to the gondola, extensive spa facilities and broad choice of accommodation. The hotel offers double rooms, studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, making it practical for couples, families and groups of friends. Current guests frequently praise the staff, cleanliness, food and overall comfort. The spa area includes a large heated indoor swimming pool, steam room, infrared, aroma and salt saunas, hot tub and warm relaxation areas. Complimentary parking, Wi-Fi and a winter shuttle to the gondola are additional advantages.
What guests most often complain about
Longer-term public ratings are more mixed than the current Booking feedback and suggest that the guest experience has not always been completely consistent. During busy winter periods, the swimming pool, spa and restaurant can become crowded. Studios and apartments can also vary in size and layout. An important detail is that the presence of a kitchenette does not mean full self-catering facilities, as the official hotel information states that these units are not designed for independent cooking.
Who is this hotel suitable for?
St. George Ski & Holiday is suitable for families, couples, groups of friends and skiers looking for accommodation reasonably close to the gondola with a large spa area and a choice between standard rooms and more spacious apartments. It is particularly practical for travellers who want to combine skiing with a swimming pool, saunas and on-site dining.
Our recommendation
We recommend St. George Ski & Holiday to travellers looking for a good combination of location, spa facilities and varied accommodation types. Current reviews are stronger than the historical ratings, which is encouraging, although guests should still confirm the exact room or apartment category, included meal plan, current spa operating hours and winter-shuttle timetable before booking. Travellers who require kitchen facilities should also clarify exactly what food preparation is permitted in their chosen unit.
Location:
view the mapThe complex is located at the foot of Pirin Mountain against ancient archaeological reserve of Bansko with incredible views of 360 degrees over the three mountains – Pirin, Rila and Rodopi Mountains just minutes from the lifts and downtown.
St. George Ski and Spa is located in the older part of Bansko where luxurious modern hotels are shoulder to shoulder with the ancient Roman baths and mediaeval churches. The hotel is conveniently close to the gondola ski lift which ferry skiers and snowboarders to world class ski conditions on the peaks of Pirin Mountain from December to May. From St. George Ski and Spa it is only a short stroll to a wide variety of entertainments including shopping centers, ice rinks, restaurants and night clubs.

I didn't find anything special or too nice in the hotel.
I definitely didn't feel any effort from the stuff or anyone else to make my stay unique or somewhat special
