hotel overview:
Iceberg is a luxurious hotel in the centre of Borovets resort complex. We are happy to present you a first-class apartment complex in a ski resort that has it all. “Iceberg” - the ideal combination of wonderful location, impressive design and luxury leisure, 360 degree panoramic view.
What guests appreciate most
The strongest advantages of Iceberg Hotel Borovets are its central location and convenient proximity to the gondola and the resort's main services. Guests often appreciate the spacious and well-heated rooms, comfortable beds and welcoming staff. Positive reviews regularly mention good food, the sauna, swimming pool and the convenience of having relaxation facilities available after a day on the slopes. For many travellers, the combination of location, room size and price represents reasonable value.
What guests most often complain about
Guest feedback is more mixed than for many other centrally located Borovets hotels. The most recurring criticism concerns inconsistent cleanliness and maintenance, older or worn furnishings and occasional technical problems in rooms and bathrooms. Some guests also report uneven food quality or service. This means that the overall experience can vary considerably depending on the particular room and the period of stay.
Who is this hotel suitable for?
Iceberg Hotel Borovets is suitable for skiers, couples, families and groups for whom proximity to the gondola and resort centre is a major priority. The spacious accommodation can work well for families, while the sauna, swimming pool and fitness facilities are useful additions after an active day. The hotel is better suited to travellers seeking a functional base in a convenient location than to those expecting an uncompromising four-star experience.
Our recommendation
We recommend Iceberg Hotel Borovets primarily for its location, spacious accommodation and convenient access to the ski area. Before booking, guests should check recent photographs and reviews for the exact room category and confirm the current availability and opening hours of the swimming pool, sauna and other relaxation facilities. Travellers who prioritise fully renovated interiors, consistently high maintenance standards and very predictable service may prefer another four-star hotel in Borovets.
Location:
view the mapHotel Iceberg is in the immediate proximity of the cable car, only 150 metres , which makes it a preferable place for relaxation and entertainment as well as for the numerous winter sports lovers. The wonderful location of the hotel and the panoramic view of the mountain determines it as a desirable place for recreation and tourism during the summer months. Hotel Iceberg is located in Borovets, Sofia region,18 kilometres away from Moussala peak. The closest airport to the hotel is in Sofia ,67 kilometres away.
