Bulgaria and Stara Zagora region in particular will be recommended as attractive tourist destination at the 60th General Assembly of the World Association of Tourist Agencies which will take place in Barcelona in December.
This has been officially stated by the CEO of the Association Christine Fournier /Switzerland/.
A survey among tourist agencies, Bulgaria is not very popular and serious efforts need to be made in order to make it ‘visible’ for the world. This must become a National Policy, said Christine Furnie.
During the course of the assembly in Barcelona, Bulgarian representative in the World Association of Tourist Agencies will introduce a presentation and have direct meetings in order to popularize Bulgaria as a holiday destination.
Mrs. Fournier added that she intends to write a report for Stara Zagora region and the project which will make this fantastic region popular all over the world.
