Bulgaria becomes gradually more preferable tourist destination for Greek people

Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Croatia and the city of Istanbul are some of the most preferable tourist destinations by Greek tourists. This fact is reported by Greek tourist agencies. Most Greeks have recently chosen neighbourhood Balkan countries as cheap decision for spending their holiday.
Bulgaria is preferable as number 1 winter destination, mainly by Thessaloniki residents. The main reasons for this choice are Bulgarian big winter resorts, provided with high quality ski centers, natural beauties and reasonable prices.
Many Greeks fancy going to Bulgaria in the summer as well. One week summer holiday in a four-star hotel in Varna can be found at reduced prices.
