Bulgarian resort Bansko is the best value for holidaymakers who are looking to book a winter ski break, a recent research has found. A one person, six-day ski trip, including equipment and ski school plus one lunch with drinks, would set a traveller back a total of £265 for the cheapest destination in Bulgaria. The next best-value destination for skiers, out of the 27 European and North American resorts surveyed, was in Kranjska Gora in Slovenia, with Ellmau in Austria the next least-expensive. The most expensive destination, Tremblant in Canada, is more than three times the cost, at £817.79 for the same package, according to research by the Post Office.
