Bulgaria and Romania may present their tourism product as a joint tourism region for foreign holidaymakers who are not EU residents. Attractive tourism group are holidaymakers from India and China.
Bulgarian government encourages touroperators to offer a joint product that includes Black Sea and Danube River regions. Bulgaria and Romania are coordinators of one of the most important aspects in a new Danube strategy that is aimed to encourage culture, tourism and relationships.
Bulgarian minister Traykov presented the opportunities for the development of alternative tourism in Bulgaria: spa and wellness tourism , diverse cultural and historic heritage etc.
