Destinations like Sunny Beach resort should concentrate on the opportunities to attract young people and unmarried couples while Lozenets and Sozopol summer resorts should focus on family-friendly beach vacations. Thus, the tourism industry in Bulgaria is not affected by controversial discussions, but it defines all target groups and services that Bulgaria offers.

This was the conclusion of an expert in the industry who believes that Bulgaria should register the substantial cash flow which comes to the country. Tourists should feel safe in EU country and feel free to use all services offered without exposing themselves to the risk of being defrauded. As it comes to the advertising, experts said that it flourishes and it boosts the tourism flow. Bulgaria should filter ad messages, though, and promote various holiday destinations instead of the entire tourism product. For instance, people like being on a holiday in Ibiza, not Spain.

The tourism forum which was held last week covered various topics and directions that should be applied in regards to the development of tourism branch in Bulgaria. Also, the business should define and use all opportunities and dangers that may affect it directly and indirectly.

The key element of the optimization of tourism branch should be technologies that the business should adapt to. The ROI of technologies is difficult to be measures as technology products are intangible.
