Bulgaria Visited by 100 000 Ukrainian Tourists Annually

About 100 000 Ukrainians visit Bulgaria every year as tourists, the Varna Radio reported after the meeting of Ukraine's Ambassador to Sofia with the Mayor of Bulgaria's "sea capital", the city of Varna.
His Excellency Viktor Kalnik announced that the annual trade between Bulgaria and the Ukraine was worth USD 80 M, and that the opportunities for cooperation have increased after the latter joined the World Trade Organization.
In his words, the Bulgarian business could reappear at the Ukrainian market with its traditional and well-known goods such as wine, perfumery, and cigarettes, whereas the Ukrainian entrepreneurs are interested in investing in real estate, shipbuilding, infrastructure and energy project.
Kalnik also announced that the Bulgarian State Agency for Tourism and Bulgarian tourism firms were going to present the country as a tourist destination at the tourism fair in Ukraine on March 26-29.
