Bulgaria Wins Tourism Award

The Bulgarian Tourism Agency has received the award for best international presentation at the International Tourism Expo IFTS 2005 in Belgrade. The award was handed down by Bojan Dimitrijevic, Minister of Trade, Tourism and Services of Serbia and Montenegro. The participation of 14 Bulgarian companies at the expo has triggered great interest among the Serbian tour operators and their clients, according to officials from Bulgaria's Culture and Tourism Ministry. The two neighbouring countries have agreed to boost cooperation in the fields of culture and historic and convention tourism, as well as in the implementation of joint projects aimed at entering markets of Western Europe, North America and Japan. see source
