Bulgarian Yagodinska cave to be sounded with classical music and Rhodope bagpipe
Anita Valentinova, source: okolosveta.com, 21.12.2008
Sound equipment will be installed in Yagodinska cave, said Sergei Genchev, the keeper of Yagodinska cave. The music which will sound in the cave is in harmony with the nature creation, so classical music and traditional Rhodope bagpipes melodies are chosen. In general, the common idea represents mainly organ musical compositions.
It is considered that the music will turn the cave into one even more attractive tourism landmark. Renovation works are also expected to be done. The old iron stairs inside the cave will be replaced with new ones. It is expected to be made new energy-saving lighting. Building works will be done at the entrance and the exit of Yagodinska cave. The project fulfillment for Yagodinska cave sound was assigned to two companies which subsequently give up doing the order. The reason is the high humidity inside the cave which can result in difficulties in the proper installment. A company would be responsible for setting up the necessary music equipment in at least half of the tourism area. The sound equipment is planned to be installed in February 2009 when fewer tourist would visit the cave.
