The hotel is old and requires major renovations. A deluxe room for 2 is tiny, no space in a bathroom either. The carpet is not visible under the accumulated dirt. No safe in the room, only at the reception for a small fee, which is inconvenient. No insulation ...

Stayed in the Hotel Bulgaria recently and found that this hotel is in a good location surrounded by nice shops bars resturants and the park. Outside of this area the city seems to be ugly and tower blocks mainly.
