Chepelare ski resort opens the winter season on December 21st. According to the mayor, the hotel occupancy rate is 95%. There are 1200 beds and guest houses in Chepelare and nearby villages. Restaurants and hotels in the family friendly ski resort are ready to welcome tourists for an exciting ski season. The accents for the ski season 2012/2013 will be family packages and the prices keep their last year’s levels, depending on the categorization of the hotels.

The goal is to attract families who wish to spend a winter vacation in Chepelare. The prices will vary from 10 EUR to 22 EUR for bed and breakfast. The municipality has taken all necessary measures to improve the quality of tourism services in Chepelare winter resort. This year elderly people will be able to use the ski lift for free.
