Congress Tourism Is 6%-8% of Bulgaria's Tourism Sector

Between 6% and 8% is the share of the congress tourism services in Bulgaria's tourism sector.
The data was announced Thursday by the Deputy Director of Bulgaria's State Tourism Agency Svetoslav Novakov, who pointed out the country was not famous around the world as a congress tourism destination but that it had a great potential for development in this market niche.
"Congress tourism combines different types of services - it employs the facilities of spa and golf hotels, for example, where conferences are also held", Novakov said.
The Deputy Director predicted that the congress tourism sector in Bulgaria was going to see much development in the coming years.
