The Elenite holiday village is the result of a co-operative project between the governments of Finland and Bulgaria. It was build by 5 Finnish construction companies between 1983-85. Nowadays the once calm and detached holiday village of small villas, surrounded by a green park, due to the ongoing extensive construction works is almost interconnected with Sveti Vlas reosrt. The core of the resort is the huge all inclusive five star hotel Royal Park, surrounded by Elenite villas.
