Festival Balkan Folk is held in Veliko Turnovo

Veliko Turnovo, Bulgaria will host 16th Stara Planina festival ‘Balkan Folk’ 2012. Folklore ensembles will be staged at the monument ‘Maika Bulgaria’, the monument ‘Asenevtsi’, architectural reserve Arbanassi, Cathedral ‘’Saint Virgin Mary’.
Balkan Folk is the main festival in music holidays ‘Euro Folk’ which are held under the auspices of the European association of folklore festivals EAF. 10 000 musicians and dancers will participate in the EAF.
The third national championship ‘Euro Folk’ 2012 will be held along with the festival in Veliko Turnovo.
