Festival of chestnuts in Petrich

The festival of chestnuts will be held in the village Kolalorovo, Petrich, on September 29th. It will represent the best of Belasitsa mountain- traditions, customs and natural landmarks.
Workshops and culinary contests will be arranged for the festival. There will be guests from Greece and Macedonia and the event is expected to become a symbol of Belasitsa mountain.
The event is a part of the plan for the management of the nature park Belasitsa. The plan is developed for 10 years.
