Festival “Skiing and snowboarding in the city” is held in Sofia

The winter season this year will be opened with a unique festival “Skiing and snowboarding in the city”. The festival starts today at 1pm and finishes on December 9th, 3pm.
The winter resorts in Bulgaria – Bansko, Borovets, Vitosha ski area and Pamporovo, will take part in the festival. There is no entrance fee for the event which will take place in the area of the monument of the Soviet Army in Sofia.
The festival is organized by Bulgarian Ski Federation. A freestyle snowboard competition is also planned.
All ski resorts will introduce novelties and improvements which they can provide tourists with during the upcoming winter season.
