Hilton Sofia was awarded the Best Five-star Hotel in Bulgaria at a ceremony on February 23 in Sofia by the Bulgarian Tourism & Recreation Magazine. The ceremony, at the Sofia’s Sky Plaza restaurant, was attended by Government officials, tourism experts and the media. The awarding of the best five-star hotel in Bulgaria to the Hilton is a recognition for the perfect combination of hospitality, elegance and comfort as well as offering most modern facilities and services for its guests, the Hilton press office said. The Golden Prizes of the Bulgarian Tourism & Recreation Magazine are the most prestigious acknowledgment in the Bulgarian hospitality industry and have been presented for the last three years. The awards are given in 14 different categories and in the category for “Best Five-Star Hotel”, the vast majority of the magazine’s readers voted for Hilton Sofia. “This achievement is a testimony of the dedication of our team members, who aim at providing the very best service each and every day,” said Friedrich Niemann, general manager of Hilton Sofia. “I am extremely proud that Hilton Sofia was acknowledged for its efforts and accomplishments.
