hotel overview:

The Arena Mar hotel complex will provide you with tranquility, comfort and excellent service.

What guests appreciate most

Arena Mar Hotel & SPA stands out for its convenient location within a short walk of the beach and central Golden Sands. The hotel offers BB, HB and All Inclusive options, two restaurants, bars, outdoor and heated indoor pools, a fitness centre and spa facilities. In current reviews, guests frequently praise the spacious and clean rooms, tasty and reasonably varied food, good breakfast, friendly staff and indoor pool, which is particularly useful outside the main summer season. Value for money is also rated positively in the large Booking review sample.

What guests most often complain about

Longer-term feedback is more mixed than the current Booking score. There are occasional complaints about technical maintenance of furniture and equipment, the condition of some shared areas, parking arrangements and inconsistent restaurant service. Older reviews also mention drainage or bathroom odours and noise from the surrounding resort entertainment. These issues are not representative of every current stay and some are historical, but they are worth considering when choosing a room and travel period.

Who is this hotel suitable for?

Arena Mar Hotel & SPA is suitable for couples, families and travellers looking for a four-star hotel close to the beach without requiring an immediate beachfront position. It is also a practical choice outside the summer season thanks to its heated indoor pool and spa facilities. The All Inclusive option suits guests who prefer to have most meals and services available within the hotel.

Our recommendation

We recommend Arena Mar Hotel & SPA as a good option offering a strong balance of location, facilities and price, particularly when the rate is competitive. Its main advantages are the proximity to the beach, spacious rooms, indoor pool and choice of meal plans. Before booking, guests should confirm the exact room category, current conditions for spa access and parking, the precise scope of the All Inclusive programme and the latest feedback regarding technical maintenance and restaurant service.
