Hotels in Bulgaria with a new categorization

There will be new regulation for the categorization of hotels. It will be effective after three months. This was announced during the tourism expo “Vacation, SPA and expo”.
New criteria for hotels’ categorization will be included in the Tourism Law and they will be further approved in the beginning of March. There will be minimum requirements for hotel staff and service providers. Experts from the tourism industry requested to be able to vote for the respective changes in law.
It is not foreseen that Bulgarian tourism standard will be further approved and applied.
