Increased interest in the antique city Herakleya Sintika

The antique city Herakleya Sintika is interesting tourism venue for curious visitors. The settlement lies 1km away from the temple of the prophet Vanga, just at the foot of Kozhuh. Here valuable exhibits were found during excavation works last month. Archaeologists also found remnants of the town infrastructure. Petrich municipality strives to include the antique settlement in a unified tourism complex along with Samuil fortress.
