Kukerlandia in Yambol starts with kukeri dances

This year’s edition of the masquerade festival Kukerlandia in Yambol will be held for 5 days. It starts on February 26th, 2013 and ends on March 2rd, 2013. Over 30 groups in two age groups have confirmed their participation.
Performers from Romania, Portugal, Turkey, Greece and exotic Indonesia will take part in the festival. The special guest of Kukerlandia will be the senior vice president of the Federation of European Karnival cities.
Many kukers, survakari from all Bulgaria regions will take part in kukeri dances. The greatest attraction of the festival is 3m kukeri masks.
