The Rotterdam cruise ship will make five cruises to the Port of Varna this season

Millionaires from across the world are already sailing to the coastal city of Varna onboard several cruise ships. Spanish liner Vista Mar will carry wealthy German tourists to the city of Varna a day before Easter. Three days later, Saga Rose will cast anchor in the port of Varna, carrying onboard rich West Europeans.

Super luxurious US liner Rotterdam is expected with the greatest interest. The ship is owned by Holland America Line, founded in 1873. She will arrive in the port of Varna on May 5 with 1,368 rich people onboard, most of them being Americans and the rest - Canadians, Mexicans and Australians. USS Rotterdam will make five cruises to Varna this year - two in the spring and three in the autumn," Valentin Kitanov, manager of the passenger terminal of Port Varna, told The Standart. USS Rotterdam, awarded as the best cruise ship for 2005, has the size of two football fields. She is 238 m long and 60,000 tons heavy. On her ten decks there are twelve elevators, a theatre, a casino and three restaurants. There also are two swimming pools onboard, one of them having a collapsible roof made of glass.
