Monaco invests in bike routes in Strandzha

The aim of the mutual project between Tsarevo municipality and Monaco would be to preserve the nature, the unity and entity of all natural elements, as well as eco processes. The ambassador of Monaco has visited Tsarevo municipality. He and the mayor of Tsarevo discussed the project for the construction of a rounded bike route which will be financed by the kingdom. The length of the bike route is 35km and it passes through Sinemorets and Brodilovo.
Monaco will provide funds to finance the development of nature tourism and local initiatives in Tsarevo.
There is a possibility that Monaco will finance the restoration of several monasteries/chapels in Bulgaria and two of them will be in Tsarevo. There is an opportunity that a dance formation from Tsarevo will attend the biggest cultural and congress centre in Monaco. The ambassador and Tsarevo’s mayor has discussed the option to produce a mutual travel brochure (for cultural and rural tourism) which will promote Bulgaria’s tourism opportunities to Monaco residents.
The ambassador was impressed with the archaeological exhibits, the silver Thracian treasure and the biggest collection of Bulgarian jewels in the History museum. The biggest private collection of Bulgarian jewels will be on display in the museum by the end of the summer.
