The museum lies on functioning salt mines, however, it also presents a museum exhibition. There you can find a collection of old maps, documents, unique tools that were used to extract the salt etc. All salted areas, surrounding the museum, are planted with unique species. The area is also famous the rate bird species.
This year Pomorie municipality has created a project that aims to improve the conditions for tourists.
