Mountain Hotels Crowded to the Capacity

The hotels in the mountain resorts in this country will be crowded to the capacity with tourists during the 4-day public holidays, occasioned by the Liberation Day, March 3rd. The number of bookings in Pamporovo resort in the Rhodope Mountains increased by 15% in the past week, hotel-keepers reported. They have prepared special surprises for the tourists, who have chosen to spend the 4-day holiday there. Every tourist will be welcomed with a martenitsa. The restaurants have prepared special evening shows, with which to entertain their guests. A roomnight in a double in the Snezhanka Hotel costs 80 levs, breakfast included; a suite costs 140 levs per night. A suite with a fireplace costs 150 levs/night. The prices in the Bansko resort will not go up because of the holiday, Iavn Obreykov from the Bansko Ski Center said. Hotel-keepers in Borovets also do not plan to come up with special holiday offers for roomnights; the guests will be surprised with lower prices of the lift-passes. A roomnight in the Interhotel-Sandanski-Bulgaria will cost 120 levs as of early March. At present, a roomnight there costs 100 levs. The hotel management say they do not plan special offers for March 3. The prices of all passes for ski facilities in Borovets resort will go down by 30% from the next month on. One-day lift pass for adults will cost 20 levs. At present it costs 28 levs. The half-day pass costs 20 levs and the night-skiing pass 10 levs. see source
