Anita Valentinova, source :infotourism.net, 01.01.2009

The program Media Group issue new free winter guide in the beginning of ski season 2008/2009. The edition provides all necessary information for hotels, ski tracks, lifts, ski schools and ski wardrobes in Pamporovo and Chepelare, as well as the guest houses in the village Progled. The aim of the publishers is to help winter sports fans during planning their winter holiday. Apart from text and photos Winter Guide Pamporovo, Chepelare and Progled includes also the prices of most of the tourist services for season 2008/2009-daily pass cards, accommodation, ski training, rental ski and snowboard equipment, as well as suggestive prices of restaurants and bars. The total length of ski tracks in Pamporovo is 29km, including 7kn brand new tracks which will surprise their first skiers this season.

As www.bulgaria-hotels.com has already informed you, the first one in Bulgaria 6-seat lift, connecting Snejanka Peak with the village of Stoikite, is working in the resort. The access system of lifts is also new with a capacity of 900 people per hour. Chepelare ski resort boasts new high speed 4-seat French lift Pomagalski which replaces the former equipment and reduces the time for moving to Mechi Chal Peak to 9min. The total length of ski tracks in the resort is 17km. The ambition of local people is to preserve the authenticity of Chepelare and make it even more attractive for both Bulgarians and foreign tourists.
