The city garden (garden of Tsar Simeon) in center Plovdiv
It is proclaimed as a monument of the art of landscape gardening. From the time of its construction, you can see the classical fountain of the Goddess of grain and fertility Demeter, moulded by the Italian sculptor Arnoldo Zocchi. The fountain is also known as the only relic reminding of the First Bulgarian Fair, which took place in what is now today's park. Other famous fountains are the Angler and the Bear. There are numerous monuments of Bulgarian cultural leaders, modern sculptural compositions and plastic arts.
Inside the park there is the pond of the Singing Fountains, which attracts thousands of citizens and guests of Plovdiv in the summer season.
