The main issue I had was that the room and en-suite were in poor condition. Badly cleaned, no A/C, and limited facilities. I subsequently stayed at the Novetel in Plovdiv, and, although this was not great, value for money was far superior to Trimontium ...

Hotel stay ( 2 nights) was part of a tour package.We were allocated a kingsize bedded room - bed was a 5 foot father than 'proper' king size 6 and quite firm.The room - on a corner of the building had huge windows and a small balcony - was of good size ...

When I visited this hotel it was undergoing an expansion making a nice roof pool. So I guess this is an added value to the hotel now.
The reception area was excellent with enough lounge areas, a coffee shop and other stores. The casino I did not visit.

Ramada Plovdiv Trimontium

The Trimontium is a nice hotel overall, however it is hugely overpriced these days. Like many hotels in Sofia, it has raised its prices considerable over the last year. I stayed here last year at the same time and the price has now almost doubled.
