Roxette confirm a concert in Sofia for May 2011

Remember that iconic Swedish pop band Roxette ? Well, they are back with a vengeance, and they will be playing a live show in Bulgaria as part of their latest world tour, Sofia Music Enterprises said in a media statement on November 9 2010.
In early November 2010, Roxette announced they would undertake a full world tour, which is expected to start on March 1 2011 in Russia with the latest concert announced to date being July 31 2011 in Belgium. A concert in Bulgaria has been confirmed for May 29 in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture (NDK) in Sofia .
The tour is expected to coincide with the release of a brand new album, which, according to a press release by Roxette's management, is due for release in the first quarter of 2011. The album will be preceded by a single to support it. The new world tour will take the band across Europe, as well as Chile, Brazil, the United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Dubai and others, pending confirmation.
The famous duo consists of Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle. Some of their classics include The Look, Listen to Your Heart, It Must Have Been Love, Joyride, Dangerous and Fading Like a Flower. Throughout the 1990's their popularity continued in other territories such as Europe and South America, where they earned various Gold and Platinum awards until the beginning of the new millennium. Their songs continue to receive radio airplay. It Must Have Been Love and Listen to Your Heart have both recently received awards from BMI, with both songs achieving four million radio plays.
