Ski resorts in Bulgaria host prestigious ski and snowboard contests

The sunniest ski resort in Bulgaria, Pamporovo will host a round of the European ski cup for women – ski alpine disciplines, ski freestyle and snowboard. The starts are held on January 23 and 24, 2013 with 2 runs on each competition day.
The European ski and snowboard Cups will take place in Osogovo. The ski freestyle competition will take place on February 20th and 21st, 2013. The snowboard competitions are held for February 23rd and 24th, 2013. The initiative “”World Snow day” will be held for the 2nd time and Borovets has prepared a special program for the day.
The chairman of the Bulgarian Ski Federation announced that the ski resort Bansko has the chance to become the host of the World Alpine Ski Cup for women after the Olympic Games in Sochi 2014. However, the decision of FIS will be officially announced in May 2013. Keep your fingers crossed for the beloved Bansko!
