Ski equipment to the length of 1km will connect “Nezabravka” chalet and “Dobrila” in Sopot mountainous region

The Mayor of
Sopot explained that the Municipality took the responsibility to ban any building works of the
Balkan in turn to the received permission for the construction of ski tracks.
Thus, this part of
National Park “Central Balkan” can be used also in winter next year, both for organized groups of sportsmen and tourists and nature’s lovers.
Bed capacity has increased from 100 to 1200 beds for the past 5 years.

Sopot is a Bulgarian town situated in the
fertile sub-Balkan mountain valley of Karlovo (which is the western part of the famous Rose Valley), immediately below the steep southern slopes of the Troyan Balkan Mountain (Central Stara Planina).
Sopot is part of Plovdiv Province and is the administrative centre of a municipality.
