hotel overview:
The Romance Hotel is ideally located in the very center of the oldest Bulgarian Black Sea resort. The hotel is the best place for business trips, leisure and recreation, meetings, conferences and weddings. We provide high quality services and give to our guests’ unforgettable experience and pleasure all the year round. The hotel is unique with its own style, coziness, personal attitude from our professional staff. We present you experience, peace and romantic environment you will never forget.
What guests appreciate most
Romance Hotel and Family Suites stands out for its convenient central location in St. St. Constantine and Helena, approximately 150 metres from the sea. The complex combines the classic Romance building with the newer Family Suites wing, opened in 2021, and accommodation ranges from standard rooms to spacious studios, suites and family apartments. Current guests frequently praise the comfortable beds, generous space in the newer wing, good breakfast and dinner, clean outdoor swimming pool, attractive garden and friendly staff. Location, comfort, cleanliness and Wi-Fi also receive consistently good ratings. The family accommodation is practical for longer stays, with some units providing facilities for storing food and preparing simple meals or snacks.
What guests most often complain about
Guests should be aware that accommodation is spread across different buildings and room categories, so the experience is not completely uniform. Occasional feedback mentions weaker soundproofing, inconsistent cleanliness or more limited space in certain rooms, while the newer family units generally receive stronger comments. Some of the more critical Tripadvisor reviews are considerably older and relate to the period when the property operated as Romance Splendid & SPA, so they are not fully representative of the current product.
Who is this hotel suitable for?
Romance Hotel and Family Suites is suitable for couples, families with children and travellers looking for a central location, easy beach access and a choice of more spacious accommodation. Family Suites is particularly practical for families and longer stays, while the classic Romance building works well for couples and shorter breaks. The property also suits guests who appreciate a green and relatively peaceful setting, a swimming pool and easy walking access to the resort's restaurants and beaches.
Our recommendation
We recommend Romance Hotel and Family Suites as a well-rated and balanced option in St. St. Constantine and Helena. Its main strengths are the location, spacious family accommodation, swimming pool, food and consistently good current ratings for comfort and cleanliness. When booking, it is important to confirm the exact building and accommodation category because standard, size, view and soundproofing can vary. For families, we would generally favour the newer Family Suites when the price difference is reasonable.

Very nice hotel, very clean, people are wonderful, always ready to help. Healthy breakfast with very good vegetables and fruits. The only thing missing is mineral water, so if you want some treatment you need to find another place with warm mineral water. ...

Staff very professional. Not many spa procedures. I don't think you should pay for the steam room and the sauna.

The best of the best! very clean and quiet, ideal for silence and trips around because the resort is very small.
