Iwas baffled to read Martin\'s review which ignored all the many fantastic things about this place. I\'ve stayed here several times and I can\'t believe he focused on such minor quibbles. In Bulgaria is quite common to have dishes served as they\'re cooked, rather than all together. And the breakfast coffee is self service, so if he was charged extra it may have been due to it being served from the bar. And in Bulgaria is normal to be charged for milk accompanying it, surely he experienced this before now. My partner and I were blown away by this lovely spot: the setting, the incredible indoor pool fed by hot springs, the stunning recreation of the Thracian Tombs in the tasting room, the high standard of the furnishings in the rooms, the peacocks that wander through the grounds, and of course the wine. But no, for some people that\'s all spoiled because their potatoes went cold and they were charged (how much? Less than £1?) for an extra coffee with milk. I have to stress that I\'ve no relationship or interest in this hotel, apart from that of a guest. But I think there\'s something sad if that\'s all he can take away from an experience that could have given so much pleasure of he\'d just allowed it to.

A large complex probably best suited to families with young children. The hotel is well appointed but staff seem to have had very little training. At dinner on the night before we left we ordered two dgferent veal dishes with one saute potatoes. These arrived as follows - one veal dish by itself followed by two plates so that we could share the dish. Ten minutes later the saute potatoes arrived after we had finished the first veal dish! They proceeded to go old while we waited for the second veal dish. I complained and a separate serving of saute potatoes arrived so that we could now share the second veal dish which by now waqsbarely warm.
At checkout the next morning they rang your office before accepting the accommodation vouchers you had emailed me. Although breakfast was included they then proceede to charge me for another cup of coffee and even an additional small jug of milk etc. Not a very rewarding experience and one which I do not intend to experience again.....
