hotel overview:

Fully renovated in 2018 Hotel Baikal is situated in the central part of Sunny beach at about 600 m from the resort center, 150 m from the beach, 2 km from Nesebar – UNESCO World heritage and only 30 km from Burgas – one of the biggest cities of Bulgaria.
It contains 3 parts with various height - 3, 4, 5 and 7 floors. There are 278 double rooms and studios and 20 apartments.
The hotel received a whole new modern look after being renovated in 2018. The renovation of the Hotel was completed on 30.04.2018 when the design of all of the rooms was finished for the comfort and complete relaxation of our guests. Our brand new Rooms, Apartments and Studios offer comfort, elegant and modern design. The pool aria and the pool also were renewed as well as the common parts.

What guests appreciate most

Hotel Baikal is a well-positioned four-star All Inclusive hotel in the central part of Sunny Beach, approximately 150 metres from the beach. The property underwent a major renovation in 2018 and offers a restaurant, lobby bar, pool bar, outdoor swimming pool with a children's section, playground, fitness facilities and sports activities. Current guests particularly praise the cleanliness, daily housekeeping, varied food, comfortable accommodation, friendly staff and strong value for money. Families also appreciate the swimming pool, children's activities and relatively short walk to the beach.

What guests most often complain about

Despite the exceptionally strong current Booking ratings, the larger long-term review history is more moderate. During busy summer periods, the pool area can become crowded and finding available sun loungers may be difficult. There are occasional comments about noise in the restaurant and shared areas, together with smaller rooms in some parts of the complex. Older reviews also mention inconsistent Wi-Fi coverage. As the hotel consists of several buildings, room size and overall accommodation experience can vary between sections.

Who is this hotel suitable for?

Hotel Baikal is particularly suitable for families with children, couples and travellers looking for an All Inclusive holiday close to the beach without requiring an immediate beachfront location. It also suits guests who want to stay reasonably close to central Sunny Beach while having a swimming pool and family facilities within the hotel complex.

Our recommendation

We recommend Hotel Baikal as a good four-star family option with very strong current ratings and a convenient location. Its main strengths are cleanliness, food, renovated facilities, swimming pool and proximity to the beach. Before booking, guests should check the exact building and room category, the current scope of the All Inclusive programme and the latest feedback regarding pool crowding and noise during peak season.
