Palazzo aparthotel

stayed in this hotel for two weeks from the begining of july and loved it.. rooms are of an excellent standard and are ideal for families as well s young groups.. there are two huge olympic sized swimming pools.. the staff are really friendly and easy to get on with and the hotel bar is resonably priced.. hotel is located just out of town which is nice as you are not on top of everything but can get into the resort centre easily as there are cabs on hand or its not even a long walk.. i would highly recommend the curyy house just round the corner formt he hotel, it is run by english and the food is excellent and at really good prices too.. rooms are cleaned on a daily basis and sheets changed regualry too.
the tresort of sunny beach is excellent too as there is somthing for everyones taste. there is some amazing bars on the beach and down the strip and if you decide to drink just off the main strip you can get a large beer for 45p bargain!!!

Palazzo aparthotel

I haven't got much to say but for people of all ages this hotel was immense, as said in the previous reports, the hotel is split in too 2 sections palazzo one and palazzo 2, during my stay, I don't know if its how they do it all year round, but they separated all the younger grounps in too palazzo 2 and the families with younger children in too palazzo 1 and I thought this was a great idea, and the situation was ideal.
One family did moan one day because they got splashed with water a few times but as our rep polited explained there was a less busy less noiser pool over the in palazzo 1 which they were allowed to use at their choice.

Palazzo aparthotel

travelled to the palazzo with my 3 kids aged 16, 13 and 10. they are situated just off the main road between sunny beach main strip and nessebar in the other direction, only 1 lev per person by bus. it only takes about 5 mins by bus to either town centre.
first impressions, fabulous looking apts, spotlessly clean. lifeguards on duty all day and security men patrol the grounds all nite long so no jumping in the pool afterhours etc.
our apt had one bedroom with 2 singles pulled together and dressing table wardrobe and patio doors leading onto the balcony. the living area had a pullout sofa bed for the 2 girls and a tv, air/con, door also leading to balcony, little kitchen area with all mod cons, toaster, microwave but wait for it.....NO SOCKETS on the work top area to actually plug anything into so if u need to boil kettle you have to take it over to the tv and plug it in there.. also the fridge is TINY
Bathroom very nice and spacious but again no shower curtain so everything is swimming when you get out of shower, it is a wet room as such but the drainage isnt graet it stays in pools so you have to put down towels..
Only other thing is theres no blackout blinds so its sunny very early and i was awake at 6 some mornings..
Theres a little supermarket but not too much in it but theres a big one just 2 mins away. no kids clubs but lovely pool. mine loved it there anyway and never came out of it..
there are 2 blocks of palazzo both identical facing each other and both have a bar, the staff are lovely as are all the bulgarians we met, soooo friendly. only thing is the reception girls didnt have great english.

Palazzo aparthotel

Hotel Palazzo is situated along a main road that leads into the centre of Sunny Beach, its in an ideal location for the beautiful beach (just cross the main road and you're there). I went with my boyfriend, we're both in our mid twenties and we found some good trendy bars and also nice restaurants close by. We particularly recommend the Sun hotel restaurant 5 mins up the road for excellent food at a reasonable price (no cheap pizzas and burgers!)
The best way to get to the centre of sunny beach is by bus (only 1 lev) or the little tourist train (3 lev). You could walk into the centre but this takes about 25 mins and is along quite a main road with plenty of gaps in the pavement where you have to actually walk on the road. We found taxis a complete rip off so steered clear of them after paying 20 Lev for one on the first night! They’re also quite reluctant to drop the price much when you barter with them. There are loads of bars, clubs and restaurants in the centre of Sunny Beach, they were mostly good but a little more tacky and more expensive on the main strip than further up along the beach near Hotel Palazzo. We did however find it overall cheap and ate and drank as much as we wanted without worrying about money at all.
The actual hotel we found to be excellent and more like a 4 star than the 3 star it is given. It was very clean and our apartment was huge – large bedroom, ‘wet room’ bathroom, large living area with tv and sofas and good kitchen area, you could easily cook a meal in the kitchen if you need to. We also had a balcony overlooking the pool. There are 2 pools at the hotel, both are bigger than a lot of the other hotel pools close by.
The town of old Nessebar is well worth a visit, it’s a pretty town to wander around then have lunch overlooking the harbour. We also visited the Action waterpark which was really good – you get a free shuttlebus to this waterpark.
