The village of Gela near Smolyan is fully occupied for upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays. The mayor announced that more than 500 tourists will spend their festive season in the village. The mayor explained that this year prices are increased, because every hotel and guest house can define its own prices. Also, no particular events will take place, because every hotel will organize its own event. In order for tourists to fully enjoy their vacation, the ski track in the village will be put into operation. Currently, there is a snow blanket with the thickness of 30cm and the ski trail will be further constructed. Also, all ski lift passes will be sold at relatively low prices just to cover the expenses.
