Touroperators in Bulgaria forced to pay an additional insurance

The bankruptcy of one of the larget touroperators in Bulgaria, Alma Tour, forced the tourism branch to consider some obligatory payment for the insurance ‘professional responsibility’.
According to the effective law, the insurance cover risks up to 200 000 BGN when touroperator’s revenue exceeds 1 million BGN.
Therefore, new Tourism law will include strict rules, regarding obtaining license of a touroperator.
