Prof. Ovcharov who makes researches in Perperikon announced that two lead seals were discovered. They indicate the localization of one of the greatest bishoprics in Rhodops from 10-12th century. Seals belonged to Constantine, the bishop of Ahridos and they show the relation between various religious and administrative institutions in one Byzantine area. Perperikon ancient fortress was visited by thousands tourists this week. The idea of archaeologists is to turn it into a real tourist site. It will be fantastic if tourists could walk down the streets and squares, take a look in the temples. Varied animation programs may depict the historic events from the Antiquity.
