Uriah Heep Legend John Lawton to Perform in Bulgaria's Veliko Turnovo

Rock legend John Lawton is going to visit Veliko Turnovo on December 11 on the invitation of the local motorbike club "Bad Company" to perform in a frequented rock club in the city. The former "Uriah Heep" vocalist is going to visit Bulgaria's former capital for the first time. He has been personally invited by the "Bad Company" leader, businessman Petar Stephanov, who met Lawton in the summer during the "Apolonia" festival in the Black Sea town of Sozopol. "John Lawton accepted the invitation with great pleasure. Despite being a world class star, he is a very down to earth, easy going man," Stephanov said. There is a huge interest in the concert not only in Veliko Turnovo, but all over Bulgaria.Most of the BGN 50 tickets have already been sold.
