The equipment will cost about 300 000€ and its plan is made by architects who enjoy the sport.

The construction of the only one in Varna Skateboard Park will have been ended until the beginning of spring 2009. The facility is a part of sport and entertainment complex in the “Mladost” residential district. It will occupy an area of almost 3000m2. The total amount of the investment is valued at 300 000€ (600 000 BGN).

Two young architects decided to carry out the challenging project because of their passion for the sport. Both of them have been practicing skateboarding for a long time and their experience made easier the planning of the facility. The skateboard park will have five zones and three levels.The first zone is earmarked for children training. All beginners will experience the first preparation for skateboarding with the help of qualified teachers. Moreover, each zone will feature specific obstacles. Wooden constructions and pyramids are planned to be added in the future, so that they can be moved all-year round. This will avoid skateboard lovers getting bored with the interior of the park. The project foresees areas for spectators who will be able to observe interesting sport without entering in the zone.

It is believed that big international extreme sports tournaments will be held in the park after its completion.
