Wealthy Russians interested in gambling tourism at the Black Sea

Up to the present the most frequent guests of casinos in Sunny Beach were Israeli tourists, but now it comes up the turn of Russians who showed increasing interest in Bulgaria’s casinos.
Bulgaria’s seaside expects a flow of wealthy Russian tourists owing to the gambling ban in Russia which has been applicable since the beginning of July.
According to official figures, Israeli tourists were the most frequent visitors of casinos at Sunny Beach so far, but it seems that now it is the turn of Russians.
Online gambling is prohibited in seven countries, members of the EU. However, Bulgaria is among those countries which do allow gambling. It is expected that a special Law for Gambling will be launched as it will not prohibit people from gambling, but just outline specific regulations which need to be put into practice.
