The spa facilities are fantastic and the restaurant provide a good choice at affordable price. Some of the staff are not that fluent with english but thats the charm of going abroad and they do try.
Also free wifi at reception.
The rooms are all new, and equipped with kitchen. We rented a car so we didnt use the free bus to the ski lifts but its only a walk away to the main slopes.
The good thing is that its close to town and at the same time far enough so one doesnt get any noise.

Being a first time skier this hotel was ideally located to all amenities of the ski resort in Pamporovo where they offered ski lessons at affordable rates. The hotel was close to the city center where they had nice restaurants and the hotel itself had a good restaurant. Although I should add that Bulgarian cuisine is not my favorite, I stuck to the basic stuff and no meaty dishes (they do incline not to cook the meat well done e.g. i like my chicken well cooked and not raw). Most of it is grilled, just ask for it to be well done, unless of course its a fillet. The hotel had a swimming pool, saunas, whirlpool bath area and massage and beauty area which was wonderful especially after a long day of skiing.The rooms were spacious and comfortable with a kitchen, sleeper couch and satellite TV as extras. Reception and restaurant staff were friendly and helped you where they could, we would find the odd person who could not assist us in English, but would find someone to assist us in any case. There was a French speaker as well. But for a first time experience, it was a pleasant stay in Bulgaria.

We stayed at the Stream Resort. It is a new hotel located in the Malina district, a short walk from the ski lifts. The style of the resort is traditional Bulgarian. As the hotel has only just opened, we were one of three groups staying there. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean. All of the rooms have cooking facilities. As a result we only had breakfast in the restaurant a few times. The spa and pool area are fantastic, and free to use. The hotel provides free transport to the slopes (even though it is only a short walk) and into town.
