Vitosha Hotel

This is a 4 star hotel in Sofia, outside the city center on the student city. So be prepare to enjoy those lovely taxi rides to go out. The hotel itself is quite nice, rooms big, with microwave and small sink area. Bathroom Ok and clean too.
Facilities wise, spa, big swimming pool. There is a fitness room - on payment .The restaurant will be the one with room for improvement. Breakfast is quite below average, and the dinner menu quite plain.
It has a nice bar on the lower floor.

Vitosha Hotel

This great new hotel is next to the Studentski Grad Park and the University of Technology. To the National Palace of Culture and Vitosha street (main street in the center of Sofia) it costs only 3-4 levs by taxi (march 2005).

In the hotel there is a swimming pool and jacuzz (finish april 2005), a fitness area, sauna and massage. The tennis area will be finish this spring/summer and an outdoor bar/cafe. There is a night club too in the basement. There are also a nice lobby bar and restaurant.

The staff do all they can so you can feel you comfertable and enjoy your stay at the hotel. Even if the hotel is close to the Studentski Grad, this is a calm area. When I go back to Sofia again, I know where to stay.
