Anhea hotel

This small but thoughtfully run hotel does indeed have a lot of stairs and I was on the top floor so got plenty of exercise! I thought it was great value, perfect placing to explore VT, and the little sun patio near the top of the building with its sunshades, benches and unexpected lawn were a very tranquil place to relax. Basic simple breakfasts but a clean well looked after place to stay.

Anhea hotel

We stayed in Anhea Hotel for four days. The staff were very friendly and food was much better than another more expensive hotel in the town. However as in so many places in Bulgaria, everyone smokes in the dining room - horribly unpleasant. Location is good, right on a main shopping street. The hotel is basic but perfectly acceptable. There are lots of stairs!
